No Admittance to the LRC without your ID Card.

We are looking for volunteers to help out in the LRC with basic library duties such as shelving.  So if you're a student at Thomas Rotherham College and are looking for some volunteer work to boost your future CV this could be just the opportunity for you.  For more information please call into the LRC and speak to a member of staff.

National Poetry Day

The National Poetry Day this year is Thursday 7 October 2010.  It is a day when we are asked to celebrate our love of poetry.  It is supported by the BBC who encourages one and all to express their appreciation and love of poetry by sharing a favourite poem that means something special to the individual.

Please take the time to look at the displays currently showing in the library.  They could be of great interest to you.

October Black History Month

TRC presents a celebration of Black History.  The Black History Month has evolved so as to embrace the equality and recognition of the achievements reached by all people irrespective of their culture and race.  The celebration includes religious ceremonies and special church services and is a community wide celebration.
