As the half term holidays are fast approaching, we hope you have all had a productive and interesting term.
For those that need a quiet space to study/revise during half term please be aware that the LRC is open during the half term holidays, every day from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
All students wanting to use the LRC must sign in at reception and ensure they bring their ID card/lanyard with them as normal.

Competition Deadline Today!
Today is the deadline for the Word of the Day story competition.
To be in with a chance to win £25, make sure to get your entries in to Emma Hadfield by the end of today.
Remember you must include all 10 words of the day in your 500 word story.

Q&A with Author, Nik Perring, TODAY
As part of Literacy Week today we are hosting a lunchtime Q&A
and Chat with author, Nik Perring, the celebrated author of 5 books - from
children's books to adult short story collections.
Chat with Nik about writing,
get expert advice and tips, and ask him anything you like about working in the
world of writing and publishing. Nik'll also share opportunities for young
writers - find out where you can read and perform and about local groups and
networks like Rotherham Young Writers.
All students are welcome, so come along to the Lecture Theatre at Lunchtime for this interesting and exciting event.
