Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on the 27th January each year and is a day for everyone to remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust. On this day people are encouraged to honour the survivors of these regimes of hatred and challenge ourselves to use the lessons of their experience to inform our lives today.
The LRC has a display for this day providing lots of useful information, books and reference sources, so please take the time to check this out and learn something new about this important day.
The LRC also has a dedicated section of over 120 books related to the Holocaust, all of which can be borrowed. For more information on where to find these books, please speak to any member of LRC staff.
