E-Safety Competition

Tuesday 7th February is Safer Internet Day which promotes safer and responsible internet use for children and young people.

E-Learning Concept by Master Isolated Images
Here at Thomas Rotherham College we aim to promote e-safety to all our staff and students in order that they understand how to use the internet safely and responsibly.  For more information about E-Safety there is an informative document and video links via the TRC Documents tab on Moodle, that tells you how to identify bogus e-mails and reliable websites, how to protect your online privacy and advice on what to do if you feel threatened or bullied online.

As part of Safer Internet Day we also have a display in the LRC providing lots of different information about online safety.

And finally.......we are launching a competition to create a mouse mat / poster design based around e-safety.  The winner of the competition will be presented with a £20 Amazon voucher, but will also have their design printed onto a mouse mat and poster to be used around College.  This is a great opportunity for those budding graphic designers / artists to show their talent and help raise awareness of responsible internet use.
For more information on this competition please see the leaflets/posters in the LRC and Courtyard and Good Luck!!
