FINAL DAY OF NUMERACY WEEK

It's the final day of Numeracy Week and a big thank you goes out to all those students that have taken part in the various competitions.

There is one final puzzle of the day today - so look out for that for your last chance to win £10.

And today is the day for the Excruciatingly Hard Maths Competition - so get those entries in to be in with a chance to win a further £10

Thursday 11th December: Numeracy Week Events

Alongside the puzzle of the day, we have a couple of other Numeracy Week events running today, these include....

- Maths debate at lunchtime

- Countdown with Numbers at lunchtime

All students are welcome to take part or to watch either of these events, so please come along.

Tuesday 9th Dec: Today's Numeracy Week Events

The puzzle of the day can be found on all classroom doors across college, along with on Moodle and will be sent via e-mail - good luck with the competition.

We are also hosting another competition for Numeracy Week today - there will be a maths competition in the LRC and Courtyard this lunchtime - look out for the entry forms being passed around and make sure to have a go as there's another prize of £10 for this competition.

Numeracy Week is here at last!

The Puzzle of the Day competition continues this week with puzzles posted around College each day.  Entries should be submitted in the LRC by the end of the day and there will be a new winner of £10 each day.  Good luck!

Other Numeracy Week Events taking place today include:-

- The launch of the Excruciatingly Hard Maths Competition - the deadline for the competition is this Friday and one lucky winner will win £10.

- There is also a display in the LRC that we encourage you to check out.  The display will be in place every day this week.
