Wednesday 3rd December: Puzzle of the Day
On the run up to and during Numeracy Week (8-12 December) there will be a new Puzzle of the Day posted around College each day. Entries should be submitted in the LRC by the end of the day and there will be a new winner of £10 each day. Good luck!
Today's puzzle is......
Six sided dice have their
spots arranged so that opposite faces add up to 7. If ten dice are arranged in
a vertical tower on a solid table, what is the maximum number of spots that
could be visible from one position?
