DEMENTIA AWARENESS WEEK
15 to 21 May 2016
Dementia Awareness Week takes place from the 15 to 21 May 2016 this week which is supported by the Alzheimer's Society, a UK charity that aims to provide support and research to those affected by dementia.
Every year, there are hundreds of thousands of families who are touched by dementia and many people don't know where to turn. The Alzheimer's Society want people to know that although dementia can be scary you don't have to face it alone. For advice and support call the National Dementia Helpline on 0300 222 1122 or email helpline@alzheimers.org.uk.
