10th March: Puzzle of the Day & Today's Numeracy Week Events

10^th – 14^th March is Numeracy Week here at Thomas Rotherham College and we have a number of events (many with cash prizes) running throughout the week.

Each day this week there will continue to be a Maths Puzzle of the Day competition where one lucky student can win £10 each day.

Bill and Ben’s combined age is 91. 

Bill is now twice as old as Ben was when Bill was as old as Ben is now. 

How old are they?

All students are encouraged to have a go at solving the puzzle to be in with a chance to win £10.

Entry forms can be collected from the LRC – and all entries should be submitted in the LRC before the end of each day.
