12th March: Puzzle of the Day & Today's Numeracy Week Events

10^th – 14^th March is Numeracy Week here at Thomas Rotherham College and we have a number of events (many with cash prizes) running throughout the week.

Each day this week there will continue to be a Maths Puzzle of the Day competition where one lucky student can win £10 each day. 

Today’s puzzle is ………………..

 Use each of the numbers 1, 3, 4 and 8 to make 55. 

Numbers may be added, subtracted, divided or multiplied

All students are encouraged to have a go at solving the puzzle to be in with a chance to win £10.

Entry forms can be collected from the LRC – and all entries should be submitted in the LRC before the end of each day.
