Each day this week
there will continue to be a Maths Puzzle of the Day competition where one lucky
student can win £10 each day.
Today’s puzzle is
………………..
During a holiday it
rained on 13 days, but when it rained in the morning the afternoon was fine, and every rainy
afternoon was preceded by a fine morning.
There were 11 fine
mornings and 12 fine afternoons. How
long was the holiday?
All students are
encouraged to have a go at solving the puzzle to be in with a chance to win
£10.
Entry forms can be
collected from the LRC – and all entries should be submitted in the LRC before
the end of each day.
Good luck!
