LRC Inductions

The second week of term is when the LRC Inductions take place for all new students.  There will therefore be a bit of disruption to the lower level silent study area as the new students find there way around and complete the induction activity.

We apologise for this, but hope you all understand!!

Welcome Old and New

It's a brand new academic year!  We would like to welcome all students, both old and new!!!

There have been a lot of changes to the LRC over the summer which we hope you will all appreciate.

Firstly, we have changed the tables on the lower level so we now have individual study tables to reflect the individual, silent policy for that area.

We have moved the magazines to a more central location which you will now find located at the bottom of the stairs, alongside the daily newspapers.

The careers library has moved to the back of the LRC and now has its own dedicated corner.

We have updated all our signage to include some canvas prints, clip frames and large bright posters.

On your way to the upper level you might spot a few quotes on the walls too which we hope you enjoy reading.

We've updated a lot of our stock to reflect the changes in many of the A-Levels, so you should find the most current and relevant resources to help with your studies.  If you notice we are missing a title or two - just let us know as we would be more than happy to order it in.

As always the LRC will continue to sell a variety of stationery at extremely reasonable prices, so make sure you have the right tools for your studies and purchase some items.

We look forward to seeing you all in the LRC very soon and if you need any help accessing any of our resources or services, please ask any member of the LRC team.
