On the run up to and during Literacy Week (week commencing 6th
October) you will notice a different Word of the Day posted around College each
day. The words are part of the first Literacy Week competition that is
being launched today – the Word of the Day Story Competition.
To be in with a chance to win £25 all you need to do is write a
500 word story containing the 10 words that will be displayed around College
over the course of the next two weeks. Stories should be submitted by the
15th October.
And the first Word of the Day is………
Temerity

shocks or upsets others)
